UNSTOPPABLE Film Fest's mission is to share the work, stories, and adventures of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) in the outdoors.
In December 2020, the OWNYOUR Media team hosted the UNSTOPPABLE Film Fest, which featured a total of nine films - all of which were either starring BIPOC or was created by BIPOC. In addition to the films, the live YouTube event also included interviews with some of the filmmakers, exclusive introductions by the stars and filmmakers of the films, and a giveaway.

In collaboration with Folds of Honors, Budweiser launched the “Special Delivery for Veterans” campaign on Memorial Day 2017. Our mission was simply to give back to those who have fought for our country. In addition to the custom Budweiser bottles honoring individual veterans, Budweiser donated $1 Million to Folds of Honors, an organization that provides scholarships to families of fallen or wounded soldiers.
By the end of the campaign, “Special Delivery For Veterans” hero video had earned 16MM Views, 280K Impressions, and 200K Engagements on Facebook.

SENIOR CREATIVE
Many immigrants feel compelled to change their ethnic names in order to conform into new environments. Unfortunately, this form of adaptation often results in the loss of a significant aspect of our identities rooted in our rich cultural backgrounds.
As a way to start a conversation about this phenomenon, we have created “The Game of Adetokunbo”, a unique twist on the game of horse featuring Giannis Antetokounmpo and Hasan Minhaj. Both individuals, being immigrants themselves, have experienced firsthand the mispronunciation and mishandling of their names. Through this game, they aim to shed light on their cross-cultural journeys and emphasize the importance of honoring and celebrating the diversity embedded within our names and the cultures they represent.

Andy’s Deli is an exploration of the Asian American identity intersecting with New York City culture. The purpose of the brand is to document and recontextualize the symbols commonly seen in the two cultures.

As a Senior Art Director at Audible, I have had the privilege of overseeing and participating in a diverse range of creative projects. One of the highlights of my experience has been spearheading the creation of captivating social media videos that engage and captivate our audience.
Through these videos, we have successfully conveyed the essence and appeal of Audible's extensive collection of audio content. From thought-provoking book recommendations to immersive storytelling experiences, our social media videos have become a powerful tool for reaching and connecting with our audience on various platforms.
In addition to video production, I have also had the opportunity to direct animation projects at Audible. Collaborating with talented animators, we have brought our stories to life, enhancing the visual storytelling experience and making it more accessible to a wider audience.

In 2019, Oath migrated to Verizon as their media branch, and was renamed “Verizon Media”. With this transition, the team was tasked to build a completely new website that was consistent with the Verizon branding, without sacrificing its original function. With efficiency and consistency in mind, the design team built and implemented against a modular design system to rebuild Verizon Media’s B2B website.
Over next year and a half, we continued to optimize the site against KPIs, site metrics and our evolving brand strategy. In the summer of 2020, I led the relaunch of Verizon Media’s homepage as part of the company’s shift in strategy to make our B2B website more B2C.

ECECLARE is a streamer and content creator (and my wife!). She specializes in creating gaming content, specifically around wholesome moments in a game called “VALORANT”.
Starting from scratch, I helped develop her brand aesthetic, edited short and long form content, created video templates, designed & animated graphics, and helped with her content and brand strategy. Over the past year, we’ve built out a team of editors and illustrators – all of which I help manage and grow.
Since my involvement, I helped grow her TikTok page by 550K+ followers in one year, and launched her YouTube channel, which has gained 150K+ subscribers within the first 3 months.

Super Saturday Night is an annual concert hosted by DirecTV surrounding the Super Bowl. The Foo Fighters and Run the Jewels lit up the stage in Atlantic Station for Super Saturday Night 2019.
With a firm design system in place, the design team utilized the premium black & gold treatment to create a fully immersive experience throughout the entire venue. Everything from the evite, the parking passes, the bomber jackets, and to the interactive installations onsite - all stayed true to our design system and built up to a singular unified experience.

As a continuation of Budweiser’s campaign to honor those who protect our freedom to dream, we delivered a life-changing scholarship to a family who has sacrificed for their country and for each other with the help of Folds of Honor and Adam Driver.
With our existing docu-style approach to video content, our team designed the environment and the context around the event, in order to let the authentic moments speak for themselves.

Over the span of 18 months, our team helped increase its Instagram following from 60K to 250K+.

While Yahoo Mobile offers a great value for their mobile network, the brand was struggling with conversions on their website. In addition to updating the visuals and the tone to reflect Yahoo’s new branding, the creative team was tasked with finding optimizations in the user journey.
With both our user hats and analytics goggles on, we identified that the site had one major pain point: the checkout process. We found that the users would abandon cart because our checkout process was too complicated. So the team came up with a few solutions to simplify that process, including breaking it down into smaller, less overwhelming steps.

O2 Athletics is a digital weightlifting guide founded by two twin brothers, John Li & Jason Li. With their hybrid experience of Olympic weightlifting and CrossFit training, the two brothers want to offer their unique perspective on working out.
Starting from scratch, we found a branding solution to O2 Athletics that reflects their personalities and their approach to weightlifting. From the photography to the design, the branding inherited the two brother’s bold, yet fun attitudes.
